I hold a Masters of Social Work Degree from the University of Calgary and am authorized to perform psychosocial interventions, am a Chopra Certified Educator in Primordial Sound Meditation through the Chopra University in Carlsbad, California and Reiki Master. I believe that healing starts from within and is manifested through the interconnection between mind, body and spirit. I relate to individuals and groups by drawing on many life experiences and a sense of humor.
Yes, I’m a lifelong learner like you and so many others. Yet, lots of folks ask me how I got to the place where I am on my journey, what I do and why I do it? Well, from a very young age I knew my life mission was to support people claim their own uniqueness and what they could offer the world… likely because I was born a congenital amputee – with one hand. I developed the art of quest-ioning the deeper meaning in life which took me down many roads of self-discovery as I learned to both seek and ask meaningful questions to grasp a deeper understanding of what transpires behind that which appears.
Often I find that people are like trees; they want to soar to new heights, outstretching, overextending each branch to the sun. What they often don’t realize is that they have to establish their roots, going deep first, at times getting a little messy before they can kiss the sun.
I support people to reclaim that which is their divine birthright to hold.
“I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again.” – Ex Libris
Learning a new way to distress was quite meaningful to me.
I wanted to learn and grow today and I did.
I appreciated getting to know you and witnessing the peace and wisdom you have to share.
